I got this mouthpiece and played it for the first time at a performance and it was perfect! Free blowing, great projection, and sounds amazing! This mouthpiece was a perfect fit for me, and I’m sure I will be happy with it for a long time. The color is eye catching and fun, too!

Thank you for the tenor saxophone mouthpiece "Gabi Rose". It has an easy response and a special colorful sound that I like very much. I use it for pop and blues. It is my fourth mouthpiece from Syos. Next, I look for a mouthpiece with which I can be heard in our wind orchestra. I thought of "Scott Padock". Can you recommend another mouthpiece for this purpose? Thank you for your great products. Ok, I'll be honest, I wasn't quit sure what to expect from this kind of mouth piece but i figured i would give it a try. Let me just say a was pleasantly surprised at how well this thing played. It was absolutely what I was looking for. I wanted a free blowing piece that was just a touch bright but not shrill on the high notes. This mouth piece hit every check mark for me. I have played several different reeds on it, even synthetic reeds and have yet to find a reed that doesn't play good on it. I've played for 40 years and own some very high dollar metal pieces that don't even play this good.

I recently received the Gabi Rose mouthpiece, Sea Blue with 6* tip. I am doubling on tenor sax in our jazz orchestra and needed a sound which blended well on solis but could cut with power during solos. The Gabi Rose design fulfills this need and is a definite conversation starter. I am very pleased.

Mein Saxophonlehrer, Herr Schaile, der selbst schon zwei Syos Mundstücke gekauft hat, machte mich auf die Mundstücke aufmerksam. Er half mir auch dabei, das für mich passende Mundstück zu finden. Ich bin sehr zufrieden, sowohl was den Klang anbelangt, als auch wie es zu spielen ist. Ich lerne erst seit etwa vier Jahren Saxophon, aber das Mundstück macht richtig Spaß zum Spielen bringt einen vollen Klang in allen Tonlagen.
Daher werde ich nochmal ein Mundstück bestellen für mein Sopransax. Ich freue mich jetzt schon darauf!
Auch die Rücksendung des zweiten Auswahlmundstückes hat absolut problemlos geklappt.

Great tone! Free-blowing. Easy to play in tune including palm key notes.

This Syos mouthpiece allowed me to use a bigger mouthpiece (Berg Larsen 6 -> Syos 8*) with harder reed (2.25 -> 2.5) which should not be normally possible. In the same time I also changed my horn (Yanagisawa T-500 -> P Mauriat System 76 II) but I think that the mouthpiece had even a bigger impact.

In first band rehearsals my band mate said about 4 times: great sound! And I constantly get same feedback in gigs too from people who have heard me play before :)

Super bec de ténor facilité de jeu époustouflante surtout dans les aigus.La sensation de jeu est surprenante sans avoir de manque de souffle.Super produit.Le prochain sera pour mon alto.....

C'est le premier bec Syos que je teste. Curiosité récompensée, je cherchais un bec avec une belle projection sans être trop brillant et c'est le cas. Fidèle à la réputation Syos c'est un bec facile sur tout le registre. Je le joue avec des anches légère signature sur un Tenor Mark7

Had a bit of a punt on this - in search of "the" sound combined with being open and free blowing. This mouthpiece is so nearly spot on. It plays really easily and is enabling me to play faster passages with decent articulation. The sound is dark and full, but with cut if required, exactly what I was looking for. A couple of downsides for me are that I probably should have gone for a slightly more open lay - an 8 rather than the 7 which the comparison chart suggested, and it's big - much more so than my Link and even more so than my DG Crescent. I'm also still experimenting with reeds after a month or more. Overall though, very good and I'm using it all the time ...

Très satisfaite de ce 2ème achat, j'ai dû m'habituer à cette ouverture de 6 (vs 4 sur mon autre bec de ténor) mais c'est venu très vite et sans souffrance. J'aime le son polyvalent qui permet de s'adapter à différents styles

Oh my gosh I love this mouthpiece. Took me a couple of weeks to find reeds I was happy with (the Fibracells I had been using were a bit buzzy, but D'Addario Select Jazz seem to suit it just fine) and now I just love it. Can go from a whisper to a roar and the altissimo just jumps out. Very happy :)

This is my first bright mouthpiece! As a person moving from playing Dark free-blowing mouthpieces to bright mouthpiece, I was very anxious about the transition as I have heard there a large adjustment would be needed. I am happy to say that I was able to play the mouthpiece immediately out of the box like I had been playing it for years. It packs the punch that I want on the higher register and is so free blowing, I could have a nice steady bottom. I highly recommend this mouthpiece if you like to play in brass bands and need power and flexibility!

I took a shot and bought a Syos. I really like it and sounds really nice on my horn from top to bottom. It’s a bit darker than my metal mpc and doesn’t scream like it either. I will be using it for combos and smaller venues. All that said, I’m very satisfied.

The Gavin Rose mouthpiece is very easy free blowing and the altissimo Range is as well

For me (with only 6 years of sax practice), the Gabi Rose mouthpiece is both rewarding and demanding. I like its sound a lot, and I somehow also like the fact that it refuses to give me any decent sound when I do not play correctly. This mouthpiece took me out of my comfort zone, and that’s good for me!
