Continuing our look back at ten years of Syos, 2025 took us right around the world.
Mexico
I started the year in Mexico, where we organised a day at our partner shop, SZ Music Shop.
NAMM 2025: an unplanned highlight
Then we headed to NAMM once again, and repeated the concerts on our stand. The one that stayed with me most wasn't planned at all: an improvisation by Tivon Pennicott (this time on piano!) with Caleb Arredondo on saxophone.
Los Angeles: meeting David Binney
After NAMM, I took the chance to stay a while in Los Angeles, to spend time with our artists and introduce Syos to new people. That's how we started working with David Binney :) You can see a glimpse here.
Texas: TMEA
I then flew to Texas to present Syos at TMEA. It was a big success, and we were delighted to spend those few days with our friend Nick Brown and our partner shop Fleming Musical Instruments. We even broke our Instagram records with this video.
Australia
Next it took me a good 30 hours to reach the other side of the planet: Australia! We organised an event at The Music Place in Melbourne and another at our new reseller, Sydney Band Instruments.
A summer in Canada
I spent the summer in Canada, where I started collaborating with heavyweights like Pat LaBarbera and Kirk MacDonald. We also organised events at Twigg Musique in Montreal and Quebec City, as well as at Massullo Music in Vancouver. And we started working with Long & McQuade.
A new material: UPSCAL3D
In September, we released our new UPSCAL3D material — a change that has been a real success.
Back to Japan
I then returned to Japan, where I visited many shops and organised several events in Tokyo, Yokohama and Nagoya with our distributor HOSCO.

Our events in Japan with HOSCO.
Taiwan
Finally, the year ended in Taiwan. This let us start working with Jimmy Lee, and we're now stocked in his shop, Onyx. His video also broke quite a few records!
And that brings us almost up to today — 2026, our 10th anniversary year.
