"The Syos mouthpieces that Pauline and Madeline have crafted for me have unlocked the sound and response that I’ve been searching for all of these years. Having played the same alto sax mouthpiece for over 20 years, it was a revelation to receive a 3D printed mouthpiece designed just for me. After working on my alto piece, we went on to create a tenor piece, as well as clarinet, contra alto and contra bass clarinet mouthpieces. The process of finding my signature piece was so rewarding, and I highly recommend Syos mouthpieces to anyone who is looking for a vibrant sound. These pieces speak so well, and have a buzz about that them that I truly love! With the ever-changing nature of my music projects, it’s been amazing to have mouthpieces that can go with me in every direction I need."

"I came across SYOS being picked up by saxophonists on social media and when visiting Paris as a sideman for Michelle David & the Gospel Sessions back in 2018 I had to try one for myself! My pink mouthpiece has been an eye (and ear) catcher ever since and serves me really well for the heavy riff-based music that I make. It has loads of power, attack and I can channel so much energy through it. I consider myself more of a rhythm saxophonist than a solist and SYOS mouthpieces helped contribute greatly to the vision I have for my sound. I finally secured a mouthpiece for my bass saxophone this year and look forward to create some brass band noise on it!"

"My Syos mouthpiece plays great! Dark but with projection, which is difficult to find. After having spent years searching for vintage mouthpieces that could deliver what I wanted, there’s now a company in France that can make exactly what you want at a fraction of the cost! My Syos is dark, warm and centered, huge sound and projection, great intonation and unlike my previous vintage pieces, is affordable and doesn’t belong in a museum! Chapeau, Syos!"

"I first met Pauline nearly ten years ago at our first show in Paris with Mammal Hands. She showed up before soundcheck with a huge bag of brightly coloured mouthpieces. I tried loads and at first didn’t get on with any of them.. but she really took a lot of notes and persevered and kept sending me more and more in the mail to my home in Norwich. I kept trying them and giving feedback and eventually there came a day when there was a piece that could achieve some of the more specific things that I was looking for, but had not found yet in any other mouthpiece. We then went through this process again (albeit condensed) for alto saxophone and my bass clarinet and I now play three Syos mouthpieces for live shows and recordings. I guess I am looking for something very specific and non-traditional but they give me a flexibility and range of tone and dynamics that helps bring the instruments in line with the vocal qualities and range of expression I hear in my head and want to access."

"Before Syos, I was playing my Meyer 6 for 14 years. I never thought I would change it. However, when I met Pauline, told her what I was looking for in a mouthpiece, and got to try a few of these pieces for the first time, my jaw dropped. I was surprised by how familiar it felt to play on these pieces, but also have that extra boost to my sound without sacrificing the original character. After deciding on my final custom model, I knew that this would be the next chapter in my sound. Now, I finally feel free to play however I want. This company is very serious about what they're doing!"

"The mouthpiece I received from SYOS was literally perfect. I can play soft and dark but I can put as much air as I want into the horn now with no restriction and the tone is super consistent and nice all the way up and down the horn. Love it! I haven't gone back to my Vandoren mouthpiece since the first time I started using it. It's the only mouthpiece I use now. It sounds mint."

"Finally, with the help and the experience of Dario Cecchini, the Syos team has created the ideal mouthpiece for my vintage baritone! Power, intonation, ease of emission and big sound. Everything a saxophonist looks for in the embouchure can be found in Syos! From the first moment I tried it, I met a new and inseparable best friend!”

"Sound is the first thing you notice about a saxophonist. With this identity comes continuous research and discovery.
Working closely with the Syos team helped me find the mouthpiece that would allow me to play subtone, but also to be able to vary my sound easily!
I've also been pleasantly surprised to find mouthpieces that are so homogeneous and easy to play, which certainly makes Syos the brand to discover today!"

"My Syos mouthpiece makes it so easy to achieve the warm tone I'm always aiming for while providing no back pressure. I also love that I can play any style and it can handle the versatility perfectly. And the people responsible are just as wonderful as the mouthpiece!"
