I gained a lot of ground when I upgraded to my Jody Jazz Jet 7 a few years ago and I didn't think the Syos could really improve my sound quality; however, I was pleasantly surprised. The Syos plays easier and gives me better control in the altissimo range. I still love my Jody Jazz for everything it has done for my playing, but the Syos, seems to be my go to mouthpiece now. The only negative for me is the Carbon Fiber Fiberreed that I typically use seems to be a bit too razzy, I have changed over to a FiberCell composite and that seems to have warmed up the sound. Everyone is different and reeds are a personal choice. Thanks for a great mouthpiece!

I am very happy with the Syos Bari mouthpiece. I have a Syos Tenor mouthpiece and was looking for that same big sound, good response across the range of the horn and ease of altissimo notes speaking. I was completely satisfied with my new Syos Bari mouthpiece and would recommend if you are looking for an additional option on Bari, this is it.

Intonation is excellent. I chose a bright,brassy sound mouth piece and found it! I didn't like the ligature though that you can buy for it. It doesn't allow you to position the reed like with a traditional ligature.

this is an exact replacement of a lost mouthpiece. It plays absolutely consistently with the prior mouthpiece. It is mellow, responsive, altissimo very easy and free blowing. I am, again, very pleased
le bec alto correspond à ma demande, plus puissant et plus facile que celui avec lequel je jouais
au début je pensais ne pas réussir à m'habituer. je faisais fausses notes sur fausses notes. JE me suis rendu compte que le problème ne venait pas du bec mais de l'instrument. après une révision, j'apprécie chaque moment , chaque morceau joué avec ce bec . j'ai l'impression de redécouvrir l'instrument.
Je jouais depuis 2 ans avec un smoky. J'ai essayé plusieurs becs Syos avec des petites et moyennes chambres avec sons brillants et mat. finalement j'ai trouvé avec le bec Robert MARTIN le son qui me convient le mieux. Sa chambre XL donne un son large et rond mais avec une touche de brillance qui me permet de timbrer le son. un bec qui permet de jouer tout style de musique.
This mouthpiece delivered what I wanted - a round, smooth sound and an easy blow that has been hard to find with other mouthpieces for the alto . Really pleased with it. It’s now my “go-to” mouthpiece for this instrument for most of what I play.

Slightly nervous about ordering this mouthpiece, especially as I was being advised by ChatGPT! I was using an Otto Link Tone master which I felt was not quite right for me. The SYOS Lorenzo Ferrero with Java Red reed work a treat. Projects and can be subtle, hits low notes easily. Very happy!
It gives me what I want for Jazz through to RnB funk etc....was happy to be able to try two others first, Great people to deal with
