I got this mouthpiece specifically for playing in the supporters section for my hometown MLS team. I needed something that’s going to project in a stadium filled with 20k people and this mouthpiece was way more affordable than the metal options I was checking out.
So far I’ve been very happy with it. Responds great. Projects. Great tone from the bottom register to the top.
For jazz gigs, I’d probablywant something with a little more warmth. But I will likely start using this for rock gigs as well as in stadium.

Il est vrai que le bec Spark est plus difficile à contrôler que les autres modèles à cause de son plafond brisé haut. Je vous conseille de relâcher un peu plus votre embouchure.
I am very pleased with my new Spark Tenor Sax Mouthpiece. It proved itself when I had to play outside at an event and it was a great alternative to my current metal Jody Jazz DV 7. Still getting use to the Spark and comparing mpcs for recordings I’m making. Jury still out.

It is a fine mouthpiece, it would be nice being able to try multiple tip openings. Long time waiting for product the the EU.
Love my new Spark #6. A nice deeper, fuller tenor sax sound than my Otto Link metal and Bari hybrid. Is easier to play on low and high ranges. The red color is cool for rock gigs. The ring makes for easy reed install and use.The cap needs some refinement in design as it will not stay on (with or without the ring)..🎷🎶
I am keeping this simply as a challenge to try and make it sound good. I'm not the best but I find this hard to get a good consistent tone out of it.
Bought this to begin exploring funk. But it’s so much more! Bright, punchy but you can go soft when you need to as well. Still enjoying experimenting with it, and thinking about buying other ones.
Wonderful, this is my second mouthpiece from Syos. I went to a smaller tip opening and it is much easier to play. I did not sacrifice any tone, In fact, I believe my intonation is better throughout the range of my horn. Ability to hit altissimo notes is very good. I also have a Syos Scott Paddock that is very good, however, I think the Spark is a better mouthpiece for me.

In the late Fall of 2023, I bought a SYOS Spark 7 in an attempt to change my tenor saxophone sound to what I had always heard in my head, but never really gotten out of ANY of the mouthpieces I had used before. From the first time I played it, I got EXACTLY what I wanted. The color, the intensity, the ease and brilliance of playing in the altissimo register and the crisp, full low-end, bottom of the horn. As I said, the mouthpiece has given me everything I wanted. I ordered it in a bold, FIRE RED - my favorite color, which looks great onstage and I love the boldness. However, for some settings, it is visually out of character and I recently ordered another in PITCH BLACK. It plays and sounds identical to my first one. That is pure consistency. Truly, a match made in Heaven - or in France, depending on your point of view.

I got the Spark 8 primarily because I need a lower resistance mouthpiece due to a medical condition. This is powerful and very responsive using a Syos 2.5 reed and it keeps the sound and response in the altissimo. It will be better when I get back to a 3. Softer reeds usually give out up there. For jazz I've never had a sub-tone like this. It's brilliant. Lean into it and the sound gets bright but not too bright. There's a hint of grit in the sound but less than some others, which is perfect. This is a medium chamber and I'm curious how a large chamber would change the sound. The baffle and facing seem perfect. What is the purpose of the horizontal ridges in some of your mouthpieces? I use mostly metals on tenor but I keep a Berg HR around so the form factor on Sparky feels very natural. I give it 2 thumbs up.

Bonjour à tous. Je suis clarinettiste de formation et je joue du sax ténor depuis 1 an dans un groupe de soul. Le bec d’origine n’était pas adapté et j’avais du mal à sortir les graves sur l’instrument. J’ai testé beaucoup de becs (Vandoren, Selmer, Meyer) pour trouver un bec adapté à mon besoin, facile à jouer, puissant et avec un son ouvert, brillant et dense. J’ai testé chez Syos 3 becs avec une ouverture 7 : Spark, Steady et TAKE THE "A" MOUTHPIECE. Au premier essai, j’ai été surpris par la facilité de jeu et la qualité du son. Les 3 becs étaient tous différents en sons, avec des timbres assez spécifiques (Steady rond et mat, Spark brillant et un son plus vibrant, take the A M. très brillant et très cuivré). Après de nombreux essais entre les becs Steady et Spark, j’ai retenu le Spark 7 avec une anche 2,5 Vandoren rouge. Le bec est au top, avec des harmoniques très denses, des graves justes et tendus, et des aigus brillants et intenses. Merci à Syos pour ses conseils, la qualité de ses produits et son service après vente qui permet d’essayer plusieurs becs et de les renvoyer sans aucun problème. Super expérience que je recommande à tous les musiciens qui recherchent un bec adapté à leur pratique musicale !!

Je possède un SMOKY 6 pour mon alto. (J'aime un son doux pou l'alto ).
un SMOKY 7 et un SPARK 7 (suivant le style de musique jouée au ténor ).
Je joue surtout des musiques " 60s " The Platters, Elvis , Roy Orbison et autres + "moderne" .
(Je dois dire que j'ai 82 ans) donc pour le souffle, les becs SYOS sont super. Très agréablement surpris par la facilité du jeu. Merci à vous de les avoir créé.

Bonjour à tous..... J'ai reçu début Décembre mon bec SYOS Spark 7 pour mon tenor... incroyable la facilité de monter dans les aigus et l 'accès aux graves... Saxophoniste de bals depuis 40 ans, je jouais avec un bec métal Otto Link.... j 'ai joué hier pour le nouvel pendant 6 heures, et je peux dire que j 'ai beaucoup moins mal aux lèvres qu'avant... bien que je joue également avec un bec Selmer sur mon alto... il va donc bien falloir que j'y passe aussi. LE CONFORT !!!!! Important à bientôt 70 ans !!!! Mdr !!!
