Venezuelan saxophonist Francisco Quintero brings a wealth of experience and versatility to the music scene. A graduate with a Licenciatura (Lic) in Musicology from the Maracaibo Conservatory of Music, he further honed his skills through classes with renowned saxophone masters. His musical talents extend beyond the saxophone, as he's also a skilled clarinetist.
Quintero's impressive career path highlights his adaptability. He has collaborated with a who's who of Latin music, including Oscar De Leon, Fernando Villalona, Milly Quezada, Ronald Borjas, and Wilfrido Vargas. This collaborative spirit extends to his role as founder and member of Big Band Macbo, a pioneering big band in his hometown of Maracaibo. Their success includes multiple sold-out performances at Casa Llena.
Currently based in Miami, Quintero continues to thrive. He holds the prestigious position of main saxophonist for singer Ronald Borjas, while also pursuing his own "fusion" solo project.
