Naomi Preston is an American Saxophonist and Music Educator from Atlanta, Georgia. She is a member of Sigma Alpha Iota International Music Fraternity and was named as the 2018 1st place recipient of the organization’s Triennial Jazz Performance Award.
Naomi is a proud graduate of Florida A&M University, where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education. As a product of the Florida A&M University Jazz Program, Naomi has had the opportunity to perform alongside, and receive instruction from many of the worlds most notable musicians. Naomi has had the opportunity to work as a featured musician on the Bahamas Paradise Cruise Ship, and has been a featured finalist in PBS’ Celebration of Music Nationwide Talent competition.
Currently, Naomi is working to enrich young musical minds on the middle school level within the Cobb County Schools District in Atlanta, Georgia. Her main goal as an artist and educator is to inspire all those that she comes in contact with, to be steadfast in reaching their goals and to never give up along the way.
