Zach Strouse is a worldwide touring musician based in PA best known for his work with metal band Rivers of Nihil (Metal Blade Records / Continental Booking) and Burial In The Sky (Rising Nemesis Records / Dynamic Talent International).
Strouse’s career started over a decade ago with professionally contracted musicals, jazz ensembles, underground bands, and graduating Cum Laude from the Music Education program at West Chester University.
Zach recorded on both Rivers of Nihil’s “The Work” and “Where Owls Know My Name”. The Latter hitting #3 top new artist albums on the US Billboard Charts. The albums have cumulatively gathered millions of plays/streams, massive record sales, and worldwide recognition.
Strouse’s band Burial In The Sky has also seen increasingly large growth in their fanbase due to their consistent work ethic. Zach recorded on “Creatio et Hominus” and 2021’s “The Consumed Self” both of which sold copious physical album and helped gather over a million plays/streams as well.
Zach has supported these records by touring both the US and Europe with the help of Dynamic Talent International and Continental Touring.
2022 will only bring more work his way.
Zach did session bass and saxophone on two new albums to be released this year with the groups The World Without Us and IATT. Strouse already has an entire new record of material in pre-production for Burial In The Sky, only half a year since the release of their previous album.
Strouse’s extensive touring, massive creative output, and rapidly evolving approach to the metal genre has created waves that have and will continue to affect the scene as a whole.
