I have 2 “Take The A” tenor mouthpieces. The newer one resonances way better and also has a better, fuller sound. Good job Syos!
I was worried it would be too bright but it is not at all. I bought the Smokey also and it is great also. But right now I feel more accurate with the Steady.

A beautifully constructed mouthpiece, this one has all the great features associated with the ‘classic’ ‘pieces. Even tone across the range, dynamics that are easy to control, it responds well in articulation passages too.

I purchased the Spark (size 8) tenor mouthpiece because I needed a loud mouthpiece to help me cut through and project when I play Salsa, Rock and Funk (I still adore my hard rubber jazz piece, but it wasn’t cutting it on those loud gigs). The Spark has worked like a charm and is surprisingly easy to tune and balance while still allowing me to project for these genres. I also appreciate that it doesn’t compress my cork (like one metal mouthpiece I was trying out for the same purpose) which makes it easy for me to switch from the Spark to my other mouthpiece whenever I need to. I’ve even been able to comfortably play a couple gigs un-amplified, which was never possible before. I would definitely recommend this one to anyone looking for a loud bright sound!

Vom Sound her angenehm und ausgeglichen, ich brauchte nur ca. 30 Minuten, um mich wohl zu fühlen und meinen persönlichen Sound Vorstellungen gerecht zu werden.
Habs häufig in Einsatz und es hat ich sehr gelohnt für mich.
It is a bit brighter than I thought it would be and the table is shorter than I would like for the reeds .

Su sonido es diferente al de otras boquillas que he tocado. Es una boquilla con personalidad. Lo cierto es que me gusta su sonido y suena fácil y muy potente. Me costó hacerme a ella pero, con cañas La Voz M, creo que he conseguido dominarla llevarla más a mi terreno sin que pierda su carácter.

Useful and it fits well. It does protect the reed tip. I thought I was ordering a replacement that originally ships with the mouthpiece. I need to check if this component is still available.
Bought this to try out as something different from my normally more medium open mouthpiece, and really enjoyed this one! Great projection, great flexibility, great craftsmanship. Will definitely be entering my equipment for pieces where I’m craving more sound flexibility.
This is a game changer! Unbelievable ease of play in both registers. You can growl and gas it or be very delicate and light. Love the control and versatility. The material feels nice the the touch.
