I bought an alto 5* Godwin Louis mouthpiece thinking it could supplement the Smoky 5, my first Syos mouthpiece, with subtle sonic differences. It does exactly that. I use a softer reed with it, Legere 2.25 vs 2.75 with the Smoky.
I did notice that the mouthpiece’s carmine red color was bleeding onto my fingers (spit oozing out if the horn) initially but that issue seems to be going away. Paper towel photo after dabbing the horn following my initial playing session.

So easy to play, so easily in tune, playing the bass register it seem to have a Tenor; on the high register has a sweet crunchy tone. Great for jazz, funky and other! Strangers to say but with this mouthpiece I suddenly head m’y sound more clear, everything sounds more musical. I stop looking for m’y mouthpiece: I have it!

I was skeptical at first, but it simply sounds amazing. It's been my main embouchure since I received it.

This Syos mouthpiece is incredibly responsive and allows me to focus on making music rather than playing saxophone.

It's very open and even throughout all the ranges. It's a very big sound that would work for almost any contemporary music situation from jazz to funk to rock.

Over all things that I can say about my mouthpiece the most important one is that it improved my intonation and the way that I perform on the overtones register! I feel much more comfortable playing and there's something about the timbre that I love!!!

On my alto I always played a metal otto link, all hard rubber MP didn't play well. With Godwin - Signature from Syos I blow nice now.

Je joue de l’alto, et il y a quelques semaines je suis passée d’un Meyer 6 au Godwin Louis 7 : j’ai trouvé enfin le son mat, rond et chaleureux que je cherchais depuis longtemps, mais avec la possibilité de le pousser pour plus de brillance quand j’en ai envie, par exemple dans les aiguës. Je trouve ce bec super facile à contrôler, bien plus facile à jouer que tous mes becs précédents, et je me fatigue moins vite.

I got this mouthpiece as a gift. I usually use a vandoren v16 mouthpiece on alto sax and I was looking for something that can give me a bit better edge on my sound. I decided to get this mouthpiece with the 7* tip opening. Upon first playing it, the mouthpiece was extremely free blowing and made my sound open up in a way I was looking for. My upper register is more clear and My altissimo register sings nicely on this mouthpiece in ways my V16 did not. This mouthpiece is also much more comfortable for me as I don’t get the same mouth fatigue after playing a long show

I have been playing my selmer sba alto ever since I came across it in 2011, and I have played on several mouthpieces over the years. Getting the entire range of the horn to resonate evenly and keeping it in tune has always seemed like a lot of work no matter mouthpiece I adjusted to. This was my first syos mouthpiece, and immediately I noticed a difference in my tone upon the first day playing on it. It definitely fit the sound characteristics that I was looking for with my sba, but it also had the flexibility to get more modern colors out of it as well. It had lots of power and just enough resistance where you can push the air and play with intensity. I was so impressed with the quality of the mouthpiece that I ordered a custom for myself. Definitely give this mouthpiece a try, especially if you're playing on a vintage horn!

I have been using this mouthpiece for two months. It feels lighter than I expected, and while I used a 7 opening with my Meyer, I’m now using an 8★ with Syos (this is just my personal experience). I pair it with a Syos 4 reed, and the response is incredibly smooth, with a tone I really love. I even used it at a large outdoor festival, and it projected beautifully through the microphone, allowing me to perform comfortably and confidently. I no longer feel the need to search for another mouthpiece. I highly recommend it to everyone.

It is as if I had a new tenor sax! Powerful sound, warm, I easily get the low notes and I can access the high notes, hyper versatile, jazz, rock, ballads... having always played on metal mouthpieces I did not think I could reach this power with a Syos, and well it's done, not only I have a new mouthpiece but I saved an overhaul of my sax, I thought my Sax was tired… and well no! It also influences my playing... really bravo Syos.
