A new material: SCAL3D
2021 was the year of renewal, with the launch of our new material: SCAL3D. As you know, at Syos we always want the best for you and we're always looking to improve our products. So in 2021 we replaced all our machines with a new, more precise fleet. And to make the most of them, we spent 18 months developing SCAL3D in collaboration with a French laboratory. The result is great — mouthpieces that are now smoother than ever! But that doesn't mean we've stopped searching. We keep testing new solutions, and we may well have some news for you before long…
A new factory north of Paris
With all these new machines, we needed more space — so we opened a factory in the north of Paris.
The Syos Originals range
We also released our new Syos Originals range, with mouthpieces that quickly became some of our best sellers!
Syos Live: interviews with artists
2021 is also the year we launched our Syos Live sessions — live interviews with many artists: Scott Page (Pink Floyd), Michael Wilbur (Moon Hooch), JD Allen, Godwin Louis, Leland Whitty (BadBadNotGood) and more.

Radio features and an award
We were also featured on great French radio stations such as Radio Nova and France Musique.
And we were finalists for the Forward AM Innovation Award organised by BASF — where we won the People's Choice prize.
