Los Angeles-based woodwinds doubler John Moore is an active Freelancer, Teacher, Orchestral, and Studio musician. 

He currently is the Associate Principal flutist of the Andromeda Electric Orchestra and is on the sub list of multiple orchestras in Los Angeles. In addition to his orchestral work, John regularly performs as the featured Saxophonist with Los Angeles-based Jazz-Rock band Cosmic Ocean. 

An in-demand teacher, John maintains a large studio at the world-renowned music academy Impulse Music Co. where he teaches Woodwinds, Vocals, and Piano. He also works with several LA county schools as a sectional coach and clinician. His students have won places in honor bands, and first chair positions, and are regularly commended for their exceptional tone and musicality. 

John received his Bachelor of Music from the Dewberry School of Music at George Mason University where he studied with Julianna Nickel. After graduating he did additional work with the principal of the York Symphony Orchestra Giorgio Consolati. He has been selected as a performer for the Marina Piccinini International Masterclass, The Consummate Flutist, and the Galway Flute Festival. He has also done additional masterclass performances for Laurie Sokoloff, Alice Kogan-Weinreb, Sarah Frisof, Amal Gochenour, Stefán Ragnar Höskuldsson, Lady Jeanne Galway, and Alberto Almarza.
