This mouthpiece has been designed for a Vintage Conn horn so it will be too long for a more recent bass saxophone. This mouthpiece works with baritone reeds.

For every order containing one or several mouthpieces, there is an additional 3 to 5 days production time. The shipping time depends on the shipping method and on the shipping country (for the US, express is 2 days and standard is 10).

Product exchanges and refunds are available during 30 days after the reception of the order. To request a product return, get your order ID and visit our return portal. Please note that saxophone and clarinet reeds are non exchangeable and non refundable.

Michael Wilbur is a saxophone alien. He's part of the crazy Moon Hooch trio (two saxophones and a drum). You will never hear something like that since they don't follow any rule (in a way that they even got kicked out from New York subway with too many people dancing around them!). Is this mouthpiece made to use baritone sax reeds only ?

Beware

This mouthpiece was designed for a pre WWI instrument. If you have a bass sax made after WWI don't waste your money. It will play very flat. Other things they neglect to put in the description are that if you return it, not only do you have to eat the original shipping fee, you also have to pay for return shipping. They say the baritone sax ligature will fit, but what they don't say is that it only fits a baritone reed. It will not fit on a bass reed. I kept the cap. In the end, it cost me $12.00 for the cap + $7.00 for shipping + $11.80 to return the ligature and mouthpiece for a total of $30.80 for a cap!

Very impressed

I’ve been playing on an Otto Link STM bari mouthpiece that’s served me pretty well, and was a little skeptical about ordering a new mouthpiece (not a believer in magic bullets). I gotta say though, the difference is night and day. Deeper, more powerful sound, attacks are easier, the high range is suddenly way easier to play, tone is better. Definitely worth it!
