To be sure that you make the right choice, we have developed an equivalence system to know which opening to choose at SYOS according to the mouthpiece you already have.

Syos orders are shipped with standard or express shipping (the option is chosen on checkout). For every order containing one or several mouthpieces, there is an additional 3 to 5 days production time. The shipping time depends on the shipping method and on the shipping country (for the US, express is 2 days and standard is 10).

Product exchanges and refunds are available during 30 days after the reception of the order. To request a product return, get your order ID and visit our return portal. Please note that saxophone and clarinet reeds are non exchangeable and non refundable.

Syos ships to most of the countries in the world except those of South America and Central America, Iran, Nigeria, North Korea, Sudan, Syrian Arab Republic, Turkey and Russia.

As the mouthpieces are made-to-order, please expect a manufacturing time ranging from 3 to 5 days. The delivery time then varies depending on the destination country and if you choose an express or regular shipping.

I tried the smoky first, a good mouthpiece which does what it says but I realised that for how ( and where I play) I needed a bit more “presence”.
The Spark matches what I need perfectly. When you want it bright & punchy it delivers and what I really like is that you can pull it back to a more subtle jazz ballad style.
Overall- highly recommended

Revisiting my SYOS

I bought this Smokey mouthpiece about a year and a half ago.
I used to play a metal Otto Link STM 7*, so ordered the 7* in Forrest Green.
I found the tip opening too small and promptly returned it for an 8, with plenty of help from the SYOS team.
I then got hold of an SML GMII with a Goldbeck MP. My SYOS Smokey was not a good match with me and my SML, so it got relegated to the draw.
A month or so ago, I started playing my Selmer Serie III Jubilee (won't go into why) and needed to match a MP. So, tried the Selmer S90 180 that came with my sax, my Otto Link metal 7*, my Goldbeck metal 7*, my 10MFan classic HR 7* and my SYOS Smokey 8. Also tried different reed sizes and styles, from Vandoren blue and Jazz, to Lupifaro. strengths 2 to 3 in each.
Without a doubt, the best match with me and my Selmer Serie III is my SYOS Smokey 8 with a 2 strength Vandoren Jazz. It was a bit strange going down a reed size, but dark and smoky (think Ben Webster ballads), but can blow up a storm when required.
