I was looking for a soprano sax mouthpiece that would offer a good balance in terms of ease of response (the right amount of resistance and intonation stability, a balanced tone, good volume and projection and quick articulation). Knowing more or less the tip opening that suits me and wanting to first test the ‘naturally achieved quality’ resulting from this brand’s craftsmanship, I choosed an original mouthpiece—and the result was astonishing: it is by far the most efficient mouthpiece in every respect that I have ever played on soprano sax. My sincere congratulations on this achievement, which finally allows me to express myself effortlessly on an instrument that is, by nature, quite delicate and demanding.

Absolutely love the new plastic compound used. Definitely feels and responds like ebonite and is a real bonus for my two mouthpieces that already worked really well!! Very pleased.

I've gone all in for Syos ligatures for all my saxophones and for my bass clarinet. They look great, are easy to use and enhance the sound and control of whatever mouthpiece I'm using. The soprano sax ligature works perfectly with my Syos Dayna Stephens soprano sax mouthpiece. I'm never going back to screws and leather.

It works great! So much easier than a thumb screw ligature. No difference in tone and the color is cool.

😊The Syos Soprano Sax Ligature is a joy to use. It fits securely in place and holds the reed in a position that allows for good vibration of the reed. The availability of different colors allows for a consistency or a contrast with the color of the mouthpiece. It is also very easy to use as it simply slides down the mouthpiece over the reed and there are no screws to tighten. It works well.
