Cam Gallagher is a Nashville based dynamic saxophonist, educator, and bandleader, celebrated for his versatility and artistry in the realms of funk, soul, jazz, and commercial music. A dedicated educator, Cam has inspired countless students by fostering a passion for music and empowering them with the tools to connect mind and fingers in harmony. His teaching approach combines technical proficiency with emotional expression, ensuring music remains a joyous and fulfilling experience for all.

Cam earned his Bachelor's degree in Music with a focus on Jazz Performance from the University of Utah, where he studied under renowned musicians and educators Kris Johnson and David Halliday. He furthered his education at the esteemed Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee where he earned his Master's in Commercial Music with a specialization in Saxophone Performance.

Throughout his career, Cam has had the privilege of studying with and learning from legendary educators and performers, including Chase Baird, Dr. Jeff Kirk, Dr. Alex Graham, and Grammy-winning saxophonist Jeff Coffin, under whom he apprenticed at Belmont.

As a performer, Cam is a touring musician and leads the Nashville-based band Cam Gallagher & The Tasty Soul, one of the city's up and coming funk collectives. Known for electrifying live performances, the band blends the infectious grooves of artists like James Brown, The RH Factor, and Lettuce with original compositions that captivate audiences of all ages. Sharing the stage with Grammy-winning artists and playing at renowned festivals, Cam and his band have established themselves as a rising force in the industry.
