Biography

Edwin James Pope, aka Mutant Vinyl, is a London based multi-instrumentalist & songwriter.

Edwin has fused his own musical genre, combining nu-jazz, dub & trip-hop, with Mutant Vinyl getting praise from the likes of Sir Paul McCartney & receiving UK national radio airplay. The project has lead to collaborations with the likes of Tricky, Fun Lovin' Criminals & Amorie, as well as touring with artists such as Rudimental, Hypnotic Brass Ensemble & Wolf Alice.

His debut album came out in April 2019 via Klee Music, & was tipped by BBC 6 Music as being 'fun, fresh & absolutely outstanding'.
