"Back in 2007, I remember asking myself, 'Why are saxophone mouthpieces always black and silver? Why can't I have a blue one?' It felt like forever before I found a mouthpiece that truly matched my vibe—until Syos came into the picture in 2016 with their bold, colorful designs. I loved the concept, but I was holding out for that perfect dark blue. When it finally dropped a few years later, I knew it was time to say goodbye to my old metal piece. Playing with a blue mouthpiece and getting that bright, vibrant sound—now that's what I call a dream come true!"

Faliq Auri is a well-known saxophonist in the Malaysian music industry, recognized for his versatility across genres such as Pop, Jazz, Celtic, and world fusion. He is currently performing with the renowned Malaysian pop band, Alif Satar and The Locos, and has collaborated with world percussionist Steve Thornton, who played for Miles Davis in the 1980s.

Faliq’s skill in blending the saxophone with other wind instruments, like the Flute and Uilleann Pipes, enables him to create intricate and layered compositions that stand out in both live performances and recorded works.
