Hironori Ura is a talented saxophonist born in 1986 who currently resides in Itoshima, Fukuoka, Japan. His musical journey gained significant momentum when he received a scholarship to attend the prestigious Berklee College of Music, where his exceptional skills led to his selection for numerous concerts alongside renowned artists such as Burt Bacharach, Paula Cole, and John Blackwell.

In October 2011, Hironori made history as the first Japanese musician to perform at the International Days of Jazz Festival in Vinnitsa, Ukraine. This milestone marked the beginning of an international career that has seen him perform extensively throughout Japan, Asia, and Europe.

His musical expression is uniquely influenced by a diverse range of genres including jazz, gospel, soul, and Latin music. What sets Hironori apart is how he integrates these influences with inspiration drawn from his life surrounded by nature, creating a distinctive sound that has earned him acclaim across various musical fields.

Throughout his career, Hironori has collaborated with an impressive roster of artists spanning different genres. His collaborations include work with Takuya Kuroda, Paula Cole, MISIA, Toshinobu Kubota, Fumiya Fujii, GLAY, Kyogo Kawaguchi, Hajime Chitose, and Little Glee Monster. Beyond live performances, he has also participated in numerous TV shows, commercials, and recording sessions, showcasing his versatility as a musician.

Hironori plays on a Godwin Louis signature mouthpiece with an 8 opening for his saxophone.
