After just a few weeks in Korea, Syos mouthpieces are already on television!
How did I manage this little feat?

To make Syos known in each country I travel to, I meet as many professional musicians as possible.
I have them test the mouthpieces. In most cases, they love them and quickly become new Syos ambassadors 🙂
A few weeks after my arrival in Seoul, I met Jay Kim.
I had heard about him because he's an artist for the Yanagisawa brand.
It's a Wednesday evening, we meet in a very beautiful and very large studio.
(For the little anecdote for K-pop fans among you, IU, one of the biggest stars of the genre, was rehearsing in the studio just below. I even met her drummer!)
I have him test about ten mouthpieces and, even though he's used to playing on metal mouthpieces on his tenor and alto sax, he quickly falls in love with the Scott Paddock tenor mouthpiece in a 8 tip opening and the Mornington Lockett signature mouthpiece in 8 also on alto.
He suggests I stay for his group's rehearsal, which turns out to be the band for the Saturday Night Live show!
Everyone was very nice and I had a great time.
Jay was so convinced by his new Syos tenor mouthpiece that he told me he would record the next show with it.
And indeed, the following Saturday, when I watched the show, I came across this:

Jay even invited me to come to a show recording.
So I didn't understand much, but it was very nice to see behind the scenes of a show like that and to feel all that good energy!
And since I was the person in the audience who came from the farthest away, I even went on stage, and had to dance on the "Aux Champs Elysées" song... But I won a cap!
